A FILTHY Christmas (Filthy Line Book 6) Page 10

“Of course,” I said. “Who wouldn’t?”

“I pursued her hard, Lita,” Shane said. He looked at me again. “I wanted her in a way I never felt before. I was a rock star. I was living in LA, playing guitar, living life free. And it worked. It paid off. On a whim one night I told her to come see me. She had an hour drive and when she showed up… damn…”

  Jealousy tore through my body.

I could feel the emotion coming from Shane as he spoke about Stacy.

“She told me she and Peter decided to take a break. He was going to go to business school somewhere else. She decided to drop out of college because she wasn’t happy. To me she was this beautiful innocent woman. I wanted to show her a different side of life. And I did. And it was great. It was fun. It was wild. I unlocked all her secrets. She figured out so much about herself and her life. I got a front row seat for it just like she got a front row seat to my shows. I never cheated. I never came close. I never would.”

“But she cheated on you, Shane.”

“That’s one way to put it,” he said.

“You don’t think she did?” I asked.

“I think she remembered who she was all along, Lita.”

“What the fuck does that mean?”

I heard the anger pouring from my mouth.

And Shane wasn’t going to take it.

“And you’re going to tell me you didn’t know Blaze was fucking around behind your back all along? How oblivious could you be? And you still love him. You’re hung up on the guy. Secretly waiting for him to come back to you and beg you to take him back. I had no desire to see Stacy ever again. Remember that difference, beauty.”

Shane shook my hand away from his and he tried to start the car again.

My right hand made another visit to Shane…

  I cupped between his legs.

  I squeezed.

  He looked at me again.

  I nodded.

He turned his head to the backseat of his car.

  “Right now,” I whispered.

“I hope you realize how beautiful and crazy you are, Lita.”

Beautiful I didn’t know anything about.

But crazy was something I was used to.

I leaned back against the back-passenger window and lifted my hips off the leather seat.

It was such a rock star car.

Fast, loud, leather, with a crammed backseat.

If rock stars were such man whores, they should have considered cars with big backseats.

Shane slipped his hands from my inner thighs to my hips and pulled at my panties.

They disappeared off my body and his lips moved down in a hurry to kiss my lips.

Not the ones on my face either.

I reached for the head of the passenger seat and rocked my hips up and down as Shane’s eager tongue began to find a way to scramble my brain from all the thoughts I was having.

My left hand grabbed the back of his shirt.

I clawed and managed to yell the word Off! at Shane.

Shane pulled away from between my legs and took his shirt off.

Then he unzipped his jeans and reached for his cock.

Stupid men and the ability to do that.

Just pull your cock out of your zipper and go to town…

Shane licked his lips and grinned. “That was just a taste, beauty.”

He grabbed my hips and pulled me down to the backseat and moved toward me.

The swollen head of his cock pushed against me and I bit my lip, ready for him.

Shane hovered over me, one hand against the back-passenger window, the other somewhere by the back window.

He was hunched over me, starting to thrust at me, adding another inch of his body with each thrust.

  “Oh, fuck,” I groaned.

There was zero room to open my legs more. Zero room to move around to make more space. Which meant everything was tight. Crammed. And his body demanded more room.

Shane grunted as he sank as deep as he could inside me.

I hooked my legs around him and pulled, wanting him to stay right there.

  Full wasn’t the right word.

  I was more than full.

My core throbbed, wanting more, wanting relief, wanting to come…

Shane thrust, driving himself and me deeper into the backseat of his car.

The entire car started to move.

My brain decided to take a two second break to cheer on the fact that I was getting fucked by a rock star in the backseat of his car.

I reached up for Shane’s face, my nails poised to leave questionable scratches on his cheeks.

He made a move, pulling away from me, leaving my inner thighs trembling.

He grabbed my waist and moved me like I weighed nothing.

“You’re fucking me, Lita,” he growled.

Shane plopped his rock star ass to the middle of the backseat and sat me on top of him.

His cock stood tall, glistening from my body’s offering, between us.

I swallowed hard and put my hands to his shoulders.

I lifted up and Shane smacked my hips.

  I gasped and he grinned.

He guided me down to his cock.

He lowered me down on him…

My entire body tensed up as a rush of pleasure threatened to leave me in a puddle of warm goo.

I took a deep breath and started to move.

I took control of my body… and his.

Feeling the steel length of him moving in and out of me.

Fucking him slowly at first, to tease him. Fucking him faster, for me, so I could come. Fucking him harder, for both of us, to hear the sound of my ass slapping off his legs.

His hands never left my hips.

Gripping tighter, driving me down harder when he wanted it harder.

And when he tried to lift me up so he could have a split-second break, I didn’t allow it. I drove down as hard as my hips would allow, making him grunt.

Shane kissed my chest and moved his mouth over my bra, grunting again as I moved the same way on him.

He started to thrust up at me.

My head just barely grazed the top of the car.

My hands tightened their grip on his shoulders as I felt him a second away from finishing.

When he did, I came down on him and shut my eyes, feeling him filling me.

He grunted with each pulse of his cock. His breath spread across my chest.

I tried to make noise but made dumb sounding whimpers.

I finally opened my eyes and looked down into his.

I inched down for a kiss, knowing it was the kind of kiss that would change whatever this relationship was between us.

A second before my lips touched his, there was a knocking at the window.

  SHANE

I grabbed my shirt and tucked my cock in my jeans.

“Get dressed quick,” I said to Lita.

“What the fuck is going on?”

  “It’s the cops,” I growled.

  “Oh, fuck…”

I climbed to the front of the car and opened the door.

A flashlight hit my eyes and I put my hands up.

“Is there a problem?” I asked.

“What the fuck do you… wait…”

The light moved from my eyes.

“I think I know you,” the officer said to me.

  “Probably,” I said. “I’m a musician.”

I saw from the corner of my eye as Lita climbed to the front seat of the car.

“Yeah,” the officer said. “You’re that guy… Shane, right?”

  “That’s me,” I said.

“Dude. We jammed together. Two years ago. At Neri’s. Remember that?”

“Oh, fuck, yeah,” I lied. I snapped my fingers. “You had that guitar…”

  “The blue one.”

“That’s right. Oh, shit, I’m really sorry. I’m so bad with names…”

  “Craig,” he said.

“That’s right,” I said. “I was going to say Chris. Sorry about that.”

“No, it’s fine,” he said. “Uh… what’s going on here?”

“My girl had a bad day,” I said. “I came home from the studio and I said something to her. Made her cry. I took her for a ride and parked out here since it’s quiet. You know? So we could talk. Listen to music. I’ve been begging for her to forgive me.”

Craig the officer crouched and looked into my car.

  “Hey there,” he said.

  “Hello,” Lita said.

  “Rough night?”

  “Uh…”

“Do me a favor,” Craig the officer said. “My man here. Take it easy on him. Forgiveness is key in a relationship. Trust me. I learned that the hard way.”

Lita nodded. “I’ll see what I can do.”

Craig the officer stood up and looked at me.

“Thanks, man,” I said. “I really hit a nerve. She was yelling at me. The car windows are all fogged up. You probably thought you were going to catch me fucking her, right?”

  “Well, yeah…”

“I wish. Maybe tonight when we get home.”

“Shit, Shane, this is awesome,” Craig said. “I heard you’re in the studio with Filthy Line now. That’s amazing.”

“I’m covering for Dex,” I said. “They’re great guys.”

  “Maybe score me an autograph?”

“Let me see what I can do.”

Craig the officer whipped out a business card for himself.

“Shoot me a text,” he said. “Good luck tonight with your girl.”

  “Thanks, Craig,” I said.

We shook hands and he stepped back, played some air guitar and laughed.

I waited for him to get into his police cruiser and pass me by before I got into my car.

I slammed the door and grabbed the steering wheel.

“What just happened there?” Lita asked.

I looked at her. “You wanted to fuck because I touched on a sensitive subject about your ex. Because you hide your feelings and won’t talk about them. As far as the cop thing goes, I jammed with him once and he remembered. Also, you’re my girlfriend, I pissed you off, and I’m trying to get you to forgive me.”

Lita nodded. “Oh, okay. Well, at least one part of that is true.”

“You wanting sex to avoid your feelings?” I asked.

“No,” she said. “You pissed me off.”

I laughed. “I am not begging for forgiveness, beauty.”

“You wouldn’t get it even if you tried,” Lita said.

“Then it’s a good thing we already fucked. I don’t need you for anything else tonight.”

Lita looked ready to hit me.

  Then she burst into tears.

She got out of the car and I had to run after her.

As she hurried up the dark road, I wrapped my arms around her.

She threw a flurry of elbows, so I picked her up.

She began to kick and thrash, screaming.

All I knew was that if another cop came by and saw this, my ass would be in cuffs and I’d be calling someone from Filthy Line to find money to bail me out of jail.

“This is where you get pissed at me for real?” I asked. “Over that comment? Give me a break, Lita.”

“Put me down, Shane,” she said.

I put her on her feet, but I didn’t let go.

  I felt her breathing heavy.

“You don’t like when I tell the truth,” I said. “I can see through it all. Yet you won’t stay away from me.”

“You’re the one who won’t stay away from me,” she said. “You like me, Shane. You like all of this.”

I laughed. “You’re full of shit, beauty. But you know what? Let’s keep going. You want to know more about me? About Stacy? Fine. I took her out of the life she knew. She was the dream. I was the fantasy. That shit doesn’t work, Lita. I knew she wanted something else. There was a part of me that thought as long as I played the rock star image, she would be happy. Soon she started coming to shows and looked bored. Then she stopped coming all together. What did I do? I thought I could fix it by proposing to her. We’d get married, buy a house, and I could spoil her. I never once thought about her feelings. By then she was already fucking Peter. They had been talking for a while. They were going to get back together after the holidays. Christmas Eve he must have been in town and got in touch with her. She knew I was at a gig. She didn’t know I told her the wrong time because I was coming home early to propose.”

  I took a deep breath.

I felt Lita take a deep breath too.

She reached for my hands and hugged my arms as my arms hugged her.

“I kept the ring… I don’t fucking know why. Maybe to tell myself to not get involved again. Because people don’t change for one another. I’m not going to change for someone. So why would someone change for me? It’s only fair, right? The ring reminds me of how stupid I can be when it comes to love. Does it mean I still love her? No. Not at all. I checked up on her hoping she would be miserable. That Christmas tree lot? That’s hers. Peter bought her that building. She runs the entire building. She’s all about small business and supporting it. She’s a good person, Lita. Maybe the situation with me and her wasn’t, but I blame myself for that. Okay? Anything else you want to know?”

Lita shook her head. “No offense, but that is so fucked up.”

  “I know it is.”

“But at least it’s real. And you’re honest about it. Can I tell you something?”

  “Sure,” I said.

“I secretly love Christmas, Shane. I say that I hate it because living here makes it easy. But I really like it. I like the lights. The music. Having a Christmas tree. I just kind of lost all emotion because of what happened with Blaze. I was so stupid to fall for that trap. I fell for it because of Christmas. That sounds so dumb, right? I just always thought it would work. He and I. But I… I found pictures on his phone once. On Christmas morning. I wasn’t snooping. I didn’t mean to see them. I was trying to take a picture of something. I knew he was cheating. I stayed with him for another two years, thinking it would be okay.”

  I squeezed Lita tighter.

As fast as she was willing to open up to me, she was that fast to close up again.

Silence was our soundtrack as we stood there.

That’s when an idea hit me.

I shook my head and sighed.

  “What’s wrong?” Lita asked.

“I’m about to do something that proves you right, Lita.”

  “Meaning?”

“Meaning, yeah, I really do like you.”

I pulled up to the Christmas tree lot and curled my lip high into the air.

“What are we doing here again?” Lita asked.

  “Come on,” I said.

I opened my door and Lita grabbed my arm. “Shane…”

“We’re getting a fucking Christmas tree,” I growled at her.

  “What?” Lita asked.

“That’s right. I’m going to go pick out a goddamn Christmas tree. Then I’m going to tie it to the roof of my car and drive it to my place. All so you can decorate it.”

“Do you have Christmas lights?” Lita asked in an almost whisper.

“No,” I growled. “So that means I have to go to a store and get fucking Christmas lights.”

  “Shane…”

I got out of the car and slammed the door.

Lita had no choice but to follow me.

She jumped at me and tried to do what I did to her back on the road. Her arms wrapped around me and I was suddenly giving her a piggyback ride through the Christmas tree lot.

“Pick out a tree,” I said.

  “This is stupid.”

“I’m leaving with a tree. You pick it, or I will.”

  “Fine,” Lita said. “That one.”

She pointed to a thick tree that looked like it was going to damage my car.

She slid off my back as I wal
ked to the damn tree, stuck my hand into it and picked it up.

The needles cut at my skin but I didn’t care.

I tossed it over my shoulder and walked to the counter where Stacy stood.

When she saw me this time, her cheeks turned red.

  “Shane.”

“How much for the tree?” I asked.

  “Sixty-five.”

  “For a tree?” I asked.

  I looked at Lita.

She jumped up to her toes and kissed my cheek.

“He’s the best, isn’t he?” Lita asked Stacy.

She smiled. “It seems that way.”

I threw seventy dollars on the counter.

  “Keep the change,” I said.

“Do you want me to get you some rope?” Stacy asked. “I can ask… uh…”

  “Rope is fine,” I said.

I didn’t need Peter to help me with the tree.

There was some machine that put string on the tree to condense it.

Peter was pulling a tree through it for someone else.

  No fucking way.

Stacy handed me a ball of rope.

  “Thanks,” I said.

  “Shane…”

  She shrugged her shoulders.

“No need,” I said. “Just be happy, Stacy.”

I turned and walked the Christmas tree to my car.

Lita was by my side and she held my hand.

“She’s watching us,” she whispered. “That’s the only reason I’m holding your hand.”

  I smiled.

  Yeah, fucking right, beauty.

  LITA

Shane leaned the tree in the corner of his living room.

  “Now what do I do?”

“The stand,” I said. “The tree goes into the stand.”

“Right,” he said. “Find the stand. I’m going to find a bottle of whiskey.”

As he walked by me, I grabbed his hand.
